Health Department Services and Schemes to the Citizens
- Registration, Clinical examination and delivery and referral Services for all Pregnant Woman. ANC, PNC and delivery care.
- Every 9th of the Month Conducting Pradhana Mantri Surakshitha Matrutva Abhiyana at all Govt.Hospital, free medical, clinical, laboratory examinations for all high-risk Pregnant woman.
- Under NHM and NUHM Scheme Janni Suraksha Yojana i.e. giving financial support of Rs.700/- for Normal delivery, Rs.1500/- for surgical delivery ( even at private hospitals) and Rs.500/- for home deliveries for all SC/ST and BPL families
- All pregnant women’s information’s for services are recorded in MCTS portal.
- Nagu Magu free transport system providing vehicle to all delivered mothers to reach their homes after delivery from govt hospital to their residence.
- Thayi Bhagya plus all JSY beneficiaries ( get delivered in private hospitals) get Rs.1000/- as financial assistance.
- 104 toll free helpline for any health issues and for blood requirement. 108 toll free helpline for emergency ambulance services.
- Every Thursday Free immunization for 0-2 year children against 10 deadly diseases at all Government Hospitals
- Identification of Severely Anaemic Malnutrition (SAM) Children providing health care services through NRC, 14 days medical care, feeding and nutrition education giving Rs.174/- as labour charges and free food to the care taking mothers.
- For Population stabilization free insertion IUCD, PPIUD, distribution of Nirodh, oral pills and giving financial assistance to all acceptors of permanent Family planning methods.
- Every Monday Weekly Iron and Folic acid tablet distribution program for all school children (WIFS)
- Rashtriya Kishori Suraksha Karyakrama (RKSK) distribution of free sanitary napkins to all adolescent girls at all Govt/aided private schools
- Rashtriya Bala swasta Karyakrama (RKSK) free regular health checkups, treatment and referral services by medical officers for all school going children at their schools
- Arogya Karnataka Yojane under this scheme primary/secondary and teritiory health care by all government hospitals and referral services to high-tech hospitals for treatment up to Rs.5/- lakh for APL BPL card holders
- At all Primary health centers, Community Health Centers and all General Hospitals free treatment, examinations blood urine etc are facilitated
- Fever survey, larva survey surveillance treatment control and health education activities of all Vector born disease regularly at all Primary health canters
- Surveillance diagnosis lab examination treatment , Prevention and control of all Communicable diseases
- RNTCP Revised National TB control Program case detection, treatment follow up and Health Education services, financial support to the MDR cases
- NLEP National Leprosy Eradication Program case detection, treatment follow up and Health Education services.
- Dhanta Bhagya Yojane under this scheme providing dental oral health care to the community
- National Mental Health Program every Tuesday and Friday at Primary Health canters Mental Health Check up , diagnosis and treatment by specialist
- Non communicable disease control Program NCD like Diabetes, blood pressure etc., screening diagnosis treatment and referral service
- NPPCD program under this program deaf and dumb cases diagnosis treatment referral services are provided to community
- National Blindness control Program conducting eye camp , cataract operation at free of cost to the needful community.
