Vani Vilasa Sagara

Vani Vilasa Sagara dam is one of the tourist place of the district. Before Independence Mysore Maharaja’s built dam for Vedavathi river near a place called “Marikanive”. It is locted at a distance of 20km from Hiriyur and at a distace of 60km from Chitradurga. It looks like Indian Map from one side of the Dam.
